Andrew was born and bred in Penistone and has been part of the local legal community since 2002. He joined Howard & Co. in July 2009, working across both the Conveyancing and Wills & Probate departments, and became a Partner in October 2019.
Andrew was admitted as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2010 before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at De Montfort University in Leicester, qualifying as a Solicitor in 2017. Over his time with the firm, he has gained extensive experience in residential and commercial conveyancing, as well as probate, trusts, and estate administration, successfully advising clients in a wide range of matters.
As Head of Conveyancing and Private Client, Andrew supervises all work carried out within these departments and also serves as the firm’s Anti-Money Laundering Reporting Officer. He is known for his practical approach, detailed knowledge, and commitment to providing a high standard of client care.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife and their dogs. He enjoys weekend walks, barbecuing and catching up with friends and family. In summer, he enjoys riding his motorbike, while in winter he plays in the Penistone & District Pool Winter League for The Dog & Partridge Country Inn.
