Nathan joined Howard & Co. in April 2025 and works primarily from the Victoria Road office, also spending time at the Penistone branch each week. A Barnsley local, Nathan has been practising law in the area since 2020 and brings a strong understanding of both property and private client matters, including land transactions, wills, probate, and lasting powers of attorney.
He holds a First Class Honours Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Sheffield Hallam University, completed in 2020, and a Master’s in Legal Practice (LLM) from the University of Law, awarded with Commendation in 2024. Nathan qualified as a Solicitor in July 2024 through the new Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) route, as part of the first national cohort to complete the programme.
In addition to his legal work, Nathan maintains strong links with Penistone Grammar School, where he was formerly Head Boy. He regularly returns to take part in careers events and mentoring sessions for students interested in pursuing law.
Outside the office, Nathan enjoys long countryside walks, kayaking, and paddle boarding. A keen music enthusiast, he often attends live music events and festivals, including Leeds Festival.
