Howard & Co. has served local people since 1976, and 2026 is an especially important year for our firm as we prepare to celebrate our 50th anniversary in October.
Over the past five decades, we have helped generations of clients through significant moments in their lives, including buying and selling homes, planning for the future, dealing with family difficulties, resolving workplace problems and protecting their legal rights.
Attending Penistone Show gives us an opportunity to meet people outside the office, support the local community and celebrate the businesses, organisations, farmers and volunteers who contribute so much to the area.
Penistone Agricultural Show is one of the country’s best-known one-day agricultural shows. Established in 1853, it has been bringing together the farming community, local businesses, residents and visitors for more than 170 years.
The show remains a genuine community event. It is organised and staffed by local volunteers, including a large committee working throughout the year and hundreds of people who assist with preparations and on the show day itself.
This considerable voluntary effort helps create a full day of competitions, entertainment, education and activities for people of all ages.
Penistone Show celebrates farming, food, rural skills and local life. The programme varies from year to year, but visitors can expect a broad mix of attractions and activities.
